Black Hills, SD -to- Golden, CO -to- Des Moines, IA -to- Prior Lake, MN

Binky hanging out on a wagon in Spearfish, SD

Deadwood, SD

Iconic windmill and farmland scene from the heartland of America

Hartville, WY is the oldest incorporated town still in existence in WY.  Population 76 and a land area of 0.28 of a mile.

Lady walking her CAT at Golden, CO - the pugs didn't quite know what to make of that.

"Beware of Rattlesnakes" (we didn't run across any rattlesnakes in CO).

Denver, CO

Had dinner at Denver's oldest bar and pub - My Brother's Bar

Love the town of Golden, CO

The MillerCoors brewery is located in downtown Golden, CO - it is the biggest brewery in the world.

Day 1 in Golden, CO - temps in the 80s; Day 2 in Golden, CO - 6 inches of snow

Max did NOT like the snow!

Drove through Nebraska on the way to Minnesota.

Iowa = Snow.  Thanks Winter Storm Achilles.

Rest Area Traps - Trucks were stuck in the snow and ice there all along the side of the rest area

Just one of hundreds of crashes and abandoned vehicles we saw on the road on the way up to Minnesota.  Driving (and riding) was stressful to say the least.

Ugh - traffic jam after traffic jam......

Finally!  Arrived in Minnesota and the snow tapered off.

Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes"

7 states left!!
