Mt Angel, Silverton and Salem, Oregon

Said to be the tallest Glockenspiel in America.  The characters circle the tower four times a day commemorating the settlement and history of Mt Angel, OR

The largest bell in the world is the Tsar Bell at the Kremlin (433,356 lbs). The Mt Angel Bell Tower has eight bells, each one named after a saint, with the largest bell weighing a little over 8,000 pounds.  They are the largest free-swinging bells on the west coast of the US, and they are used daily for calls to prayer.  

Established in 1882, it is a Roman Catholic seminary, university and community of Benedictine monks

One of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed houses for families call Usonian, for the idea of living in harmony with the land.

Frank designed more than 1,000 structures, 532 were built to completion.  He believed in designing structures that were in harmony with humans and the environment.

His designs included offices, churches, schools, skyscrapers, hotels, residential homes and museums.
