Columbia Falls, MT -to- Boise, ID

Not so far of a drive yesterday, but hilly and bendy.  I find an easy day is 300 miles or less.  An okay day is 600 miles or less, and my limit is somewhere between 900 and 1,200.  We went through three National Forests yesterday and while they are always scenic, they are also always slower.  We saw giant elk and large deer.  I thought I saw a bear, but at closer inspection is was a log.

Into Clearwater National Forest

"Uh, what did that sign say?"

A rest stop in Clearwater Forest

Kim said it was a handicap ramp, but I'm not so sure.

This was about 200 miles in; then it got dark.
