Fish Camp - Palatka, FL

Post by KCT - Fish Camp:

The Fish Camp lodge

Bass fishing from 7am-1pm...all catch and release!

The lodge at night - the Spanish moss covered trees are beautiful

This hungry guy (we called him Jack) followed us around waiting to eat any wayward shiners

Where we had our afternoon business meetings

Sunrise on the boat

Yikes - HUGE alligator!

Ahhhhh, what a great way to start the day!

Our small dock at the Fish Camp

Had an incredible week fishing in Palatka, FL (along with productive business meetings of course)! Weather was perfect and scenery was amazing.  I also won the "most bass fish caught" contest on the second day!  We were situated along the St. Johns River, about an hour south of Jacksonville.  The St. Johns River is the longest river in FL and one of the few rivers in the US flowing north.
